What is the KEMFSED PDO ?
The Project Development Objective (PDO) is to improve management of priority fisheries and mariculture and increase access to complementary livelihood activities in coastal communities.

We are located at Maktaba Kuu Building, Ngong Rd, Upper Hill, Mezzanine Floor
Who funds Kenya Marine Fisheries and Socio-Economic Development Project (KEMFSED)?
KEMFSED Project is facilitated by the Government of Kenya jointly with the World Bank. The project will be financed through an IDA Scale Up Facility (SUF) credit, to be implemented over a 5-year period. The Government of Kenya (GoK) will provide counterpart funding while the communities will contribute in cash and/or in kind to the implementation of subprojects.
Where is the (KEMFSED) project being implemented?
The Programme is National in scope and works with 5 Coastal Counties (Kwale, Mombasa, Kilifi, Tana River, and Lamu).
